Of Ss. Martino e Silvestro ai Monti, the late antique hall of the titulus Equitii and the baroque furnishings of the church are especially known. The present three-nave basilica was built ex novo in the 9th century. Building interventions in the 12th/13th centuries can only be traced in the conversion of the convent into a cardinal's residence for Guala Bicchieri, with its frescoed oratory of St. Sylvester; while the early medieval church furnishings were only updated, perhaps a bell tower was added. The remains of a Cosmatesque tabernacle and an illusionistic painted cornice in the nave have been preserved.
